Stimulate hair growth.

Q: Is it true that Olive Leaf extract can stimulate hair growth? Please and thank you.

A:

I have never heard of that before, no one I know has tried it and measured the results. My hair has always grown well, except where it is thinning - I don't know if the olive leaf has had any effect on it.

If you decide to try it and it makes a difference, I would like to know as well.

With olive leaf I never say never.

hair growth

As far as I know from my great grandmother to my mother now also my sister and I have thinning hair.

Just yesterday I visited my sister, noticing that her hair looks fuller. Asking her about it she said she's been using olive leaf extract. Her skin looks healthier too, without using any other skin products. so I suppose it answers the question about whether it helps if thinning hair is genetic.

I'm definitely going to use it. been wrecking my brain for years how to grow hair inexpensively!!!

Question:

Does the use of Olive Leaf Extract help the regrowth of hair? or help stop hair loss?

Answer:

I think it depends on why the hair loss is taking place.
If it is due to ill-health the olive leaf may stop the process by assisting your body to regain that health.
If it is simply a genetic thing then it won't make any difference as far as I'm aware.

I did have a customer who gave it to a poodle that was losing hair and its hair was going straight. She contacted me a few weeks later overjoyed to say that its hair was going curly again and was in better health.

I don't know if this is anything to go on but olive leaf is full of surprises.

Hair loss and olive leaf oil consumption
by: Anonymous

I’ve been taking two teaspoons of olive leaf oil each night for preventing illness. Within two weeks, my hair has begun to thin noticeably. I’ve noticed a couple of other people have commented on the same thing. Can anyone explain why?

Dry skin.

Olive leaf is a diuretic so you may need to drink more water.

Not sure if this has anything to do with dry skin or thinning hair but it's a first if this is the case.

Also, have you taken any other medication during that time? There is no plausible reason why olive leaf extract should cause hair to thin.

My hair thinned!! Anyone????

Since I’ve been on 500mg olive leaf daily for 5 weeks now I’ve noticed my hair has been thinning greatly!
I’ve always had nice hair and that’s the only change I’ve made. I went on it because someone said it keeps you from getting sick, well that’s a fact!

My husband had a very bad cold and daughter had multiple stomach viruses from school and my oldest had a bad cold. I always catch this stuff as I’m the one touching and cleaning up vomit.

Well in those 5 weeks I never got any of it. I also go to the gym as well. Been around coughing people. But I was on 2 gel caps twice daily.

In last 2 weeks I went to 1 daily. My hair has thinned out so bad and it itches. I went to dermatologist to rule out ringworm or anything and he said none of those that I just had dry skin because it’s winter!
Oh hell no I've been through many dry winters hair always got thicker. Has anyone had this same issue? I don’t want to go off of it as it’s kept me from getting viruses but then again hair looks horrible!!!
