fresh vs. dried leaf

What are the beneficial difference one would get when making olive leaf tea from dried leafs vs. that of freshly picked leafs (say a day or two old)?

Thank you

Fresh leaves would contain the volatile constituents and more water, whereas using dry leaves would make your tincture stronger if you used the same weight of leaves, but without the volatile constituents.

I don't know of any studies done on the comparative effectiveness of each one and it may depend on what it is specifically being used for.

Personally I lean towards the fresh leaves but that is more a gut feel than science.
