Will olive leaf extract cure ear infection in dogs?

Good question, as this is such a common problem in some breeds. I do not know the answer, and would suggest checking with a vet how to clean out the ears with a swab and then coating the inner surface of the ear with a glycerine-based olive leaf tincture (N.B. without any flavourings added).
Olive leaf extract taken internally at the same time in the form of powder added to the dog's food will give the best chance of tackling the problem.
This may or may not effect a cure, depending on whether or not olive leaf extract will kill or inhibit the growth of the particular pathogen involved.
